Only once in a long time a person so full of life comes along. We were lucky to have Mel Street for the short time God let us borrow him. When you hear folks speak about country "superstars" and the like. They just don't know the facts. If it weren't for Mel Street there would be no million dollar recording contracts. He signed the first. People talk about George Jones and his greatness. George himself cried for days when he heard the news of Mel Street's death. Enjoy this trip down memory lane.
